It's that time of year again. Spring has sprung: somewhat later than usual I might add: and finally we seem to be shaking off the last remnants of a good long winter. Everything is lining up for a fantastic new vintage with vines, now in their sixth year, looking better than ever. The 2008 vintage, maiden in our home cellar, proved to be a great success with busy hands canvassing the new sorting table as a cheerful chorus rose from their owners, happy to be in the comforts of home. Meticulous attention from the winemaking team ensured seamless ferments, and beautiful young wines flowed freely into barrel, begining the next leg of their evolution to truly fine wines. (sb)
